Well Under Away

Bon's Game On challenges are well under away now with a daily photography challenge, taking photos of moments in our every day life. There are a number of scrappy challenges, Skye's BLUE challenge, Sandie's MINI ALBUM challenge & Felicity's BONUS challenge up now as well has the blog hop & a unscramble words challenge. SPEECHLESS

Yes, I am feeling very speechless after received this gorgeous gift from a secret friend last week!!! I can't seem to get my head around that someone out there was very kind enough to gift me this gorgeous parcel from QTea Kits. So whoever it was that sent it to me, you are one VERY special person...THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, I can't wait to use it. "MWAH"

Just a few photos to share with you from the last few days of the photography challenge at Bons.

Monday's prompt was WET. Riley loves to drink the water off the ground after I have watered the plants...well they both do but here is a photo of Riley. I know, gross hey!! But boys will be boys!!

Yesterday we spent a lovely family day together. In the morning we took the boys to the zoo and the boys had sooo much fun seeing all the animals. Riley and Finaly loved playing and patting the kangaroos and emus, but the best part was when they had a little pat of a freshwater (quite small) croc and a snake. Yesterdays photo prompt was something relating to Australia Day. Here was a moment captured at the zoo.

ITS PARTY TIME

at BONS's!!!! While Bon is over in WA holidaying at catching up with the WA girls, the DT thought it would be nice to have two weeks of fun and challenges!!! It starts on Thursday 28th January 2010.

There will be chances to gain points through numerous activities during the time Bon is away. So here is the deal.

* Put your post tally at the start of the comp - you will receive 5 points for every 100 posts you make.

* Every Bon's Challenge layout you create during Game On will receive 5 points.

* You will receive 1 point for participation when joining in on games, challenges etc, winners will receive 5 points.

There will be scrap 'n' chat nights, bingo, blog-hopping, photography and random challenges.

Just a few LO's to share. These two are from the CC over at Bon's. I had heaps of fun with these.

The first one was Flis's scraplift challenge. Extra criteria was large alpha and triangles.

The second one was a sketch challenged provided to us by Sandie Mallon. Awesome sketch and the extra criteria was heaps of fun to do. Three different coloured paints, stamping with lids, sewing and pins.

The photography challenge is still running over there this week. Last week we had to come up with something yellow but still summery. Here was mine. Isn't my baby just too cute!! :-)

Today we have to photography something WET!! I have an idea so stay tuned.
Well I better get back to the scrap desk. It is in great need of a good clean. Hope you all have a great Australia Day tomorrow.

Two Peas in a Pod!

Yep , these two have so much fun together!! I just love this photo of Riley with his little cousin. It was taken when Finlay was born and the two of them had so much fun playing, running around and laughing heaps...its so nice to see!! We are hoping to catch up again very soon. This LO was based on the FREE class that Sandie Mallon ran from Bon's on Tuesday night. Was such a great class and I am very happy with how this turned out.

There is a photography challenge running all week over at Bon's as part of the CC challenge. Wednesday's photo prompt was to take a photo of summer shoes. Here was mine. Today is YELLOW but it also has to relate to summer, so I better get my thinking cap in for this one.

Well best go and get started on all the other challenges!!

Thank You

Hello everyone,

Firstly I want to thank you all for your kind words and thoughts to me and my family on the loss of my dear grandfather. He will be missed for sure but its good that he does not have to suffer anymore.

On a brighter note I have a LO I thought I would share. I finished this last week but never got it up. Its for the January Write Now challenge at Bons. We had to scrap and write about something NEW. Extra criteria was to use masking tape (which I love to use) and a mixed alpha title. This is what I came up with.

Its Bons CYBERCROP tonight. I am just a tad excited cause there will be lots of fun and prizes up for grabs. I am looking forward to having some fun with some of Bon's Babes!! The DT have been full of secrets lately and I think they will reveal another on tonight.

WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess what!!!!! I go away for one day from Bons, and get back and they have named me SCRAPPER OF THE MONTH!!!!!! This is the first time the DT have done this and I am so honored to accept the first Scrapper of the Month award. Check it out here.

Well after receiving some sad news yesterday morning that my Grandad had passed away, I bundled the boys in the car and spent the day with my Mum and Grandma. I just wanted to be with them both. And I am so glad I did. So because of that I have no scrapping to share with you and it will be a busy weekend as we are going up to be with my family during this time.

BUT

Bon's cybercrop is on next week, Tuesday 19 January, first one for the year, so I will hopefully feel like getting back into it again.

January Challenges

Hello everyone,

I know I have been gone a while, but I have been flat chat....not sure what with but just flat out with things!!??. So I haven't done loads of scrapping lately but here are a couple of the January challenges at Bons. The first one is the ROTM. Felicity picked a fabulous room this month and here is my take.

Charm's sketch challenge. Extra criteria was to use speciality paper and two or more journelling/die cut tags. Had heaps of fun doing both of these.

Both of these LO's are using the December Boys Kits from Bons. I just loved this kit and didn't get around to using it last month.

Hope everyone is having a happy and scrappy week. Its really hot and humid here at the moment so hard to get into anything.

Hello everyone,

Well Felicity from Bons encouraged us to come up with 9 favourite photos/LO's of 2009. Man it was hard to pick!!!!! So many things happened in 2009. But here are a few of my favs.

Not too many of these photos get taken of the two of us, so I made sure I took one of us on my 30th birthday before we spent a glorious day together....just the two of us...(also before Brad had a haircut...haha!!)

Can't forget Finlay's 1st birthday!!! Yummo!!

Nor Riley's 2nd birthday....his obsession with trucks, tractors and dirt!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

WELCOME 2010!!!!!!

Can't believe we are starting another new year already!! There will be many big changes happening in our family this year, can't share with you just yet!! And its not baby news either, not yet!! haha!! And I am sure there will be many things come along our way that we don't expect either...but all in all our wish for this year is to be happy and healthy.

Well Christmas has come and gone, we spent most of the long weekend sick with colds etc but it was still good to be with family. Christmas day was extra special this year as my grandad was their to share it with us and my cousin and his gorgeous family joined us which included their 3 week old little boy and 3 year old little girl! Boxing day was shopping day!!!! Us girls has so much fun!! plus my other grandparents joined us in the afternoon. Was so good to catch up with them. We have had so much rain here in Brisbane this week that we haven't achieved much outside but certainly did get a lot of jobs done inside, which included a re-vamp of my scrap room!! Brad was so good in putting up shelves for me so I have been busy re-organising my scrap space. Will take a pici once I have finished.

Well the January competitions are up at Bons so I am hoping to have a look at them tonight.

No photos or LO's to share at the moment but just wanted to wish all my readers a very happy and healthy 2010!!
