I have a layout today to share with you that I created a few weeks ago now just because I felt like creating something on my own terms..haha!

A mix of Websters, Crate Pper, Heidi Swapp, Hambly, Prima Flowers, MH Flowers and Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.

I am wayyyyyy behind on scrapping my last little boys baby photos...oh well...I will get there eventually!!

Just loving this colour combo...aqua with mint and navy and touches of gold. Nothing more precious than sleeping babies...I used to watch him for ages..shhhh...yep I did!

September Projects for Blue Fern Studios

Hello BFS fans :)

These months are rolling around pretty quickly aren't they! I have another 2 projects to share with you all.

First project I am using more gorgeous papers from the Deja Vu paper range. Here I have layered up a couple of the larger circle chipboard pieces underneath my photo layers.

"Precious Memories"

Some closeups...I love the soft greens and apricots in this paper range.

My second project is using some papers from the Love Story collection. I love the white and black teamed up with red and blue.

Blue Fern Studios September Sketch

Hello my lovely friends :)

WOW its September already and the first month of  Spring for me! Love this time of year..everything seems to have a new lease of life...even me..lol!!

Blue Fern Studios August Projects

Hello everyone,

I have 2 layouts to share with you today showcasing some super super gorgeous Blue Fern Chipboard and papers.

My first layout is using the Deja Vu collection papers again.. I started with the layering 2 peices of paper from the collection as my base then I placed the gorgeous Butterfly Grid over the top which I covered in Gesso first.

"Memories"

Before I stuck my Butterfly Grid down I partially cut out come of the butterflies to "lift" them off the page and make them come to life.  This was perfect way to show this photo of my little man who is always outside, its his favourite place to be, always trying to catch butterflies.

My next layout is using papers from the Ombre Dreams Collection.  Don't think I will ever tire of using that collection.

I have added lots of masculine type chipboard to this layout. I love to layer and layer my chipboard to create lots of demension, texture and interest to my page.

"Bros"

I always start with covering my chipboard with Gesso.  This will hold any colour of ink to your chipboard.  I glue everything down and then I add my colours.  Using a fine paint brush I randomly flick my colours around and spreading it further by misting it with water.

Blue Fern Studios - Deja Vu: My Sweet Baby Boy

Hello everyone,

A month or so ago I created this layout for Blue Fern Studios and I have released I haven't share it here on my blog.

This was the 1st project I created using the Deja Vu collection.

I love the touches of black in this layout..makes the colours really pop and draws your eye around the layout.

I did lots of background work to this layout...its hard to capture it on camera.  Texture paste, crackle paste, inks, mists and stamping. I thoroughly enjoyed the process.

I will be back soon to share some more recent work for Blue Fern.

Lots of gorgeous chipboard pieces on this layout which I love to layer for an eye catching effect.

I have outlined a few pieces with a white correction marker pen...what a cool effect it gave!
