Now on to my 2Crafty Project....
"Baby"
I created this soft sweet and delicate canvas for a lovely friend of mine who has just recently had a little baby boy. The cute "Baby" banner chipboard piece was just a perfect fit.
I primed the chipboard with Gesso and went around the edges in some baby blue ink. Then smearing with my finger in random places some Shimmerz. I have also added some foam thickers over the top of the inscribed "baby" letters.
I have also used some cute butterfly chipboard which I inked (such a simple but effect way to alter chipboard) and also slightly bent it in the middle for a 3D effect.
And lastly I created my background of this canvas using some Hexagon shape chipboard. I placed them onto the canvas raw, then just painted over with some Gesso until all chipboard was well covered. Once this was dry, a couple of mists were sprayed. Next I placed my muslin over the top for more texture and then went around the outline of the hexagons with a water coloured pencil. Love this effect.
A mixture of Prima, Manor House and Kaisercraft flowers used on this canvas.
