Challenges...

Hello everyone,

Another new week...last week of school, well Kindy for me, before the school holidays...are you all ready??! I can't wait.  My dad and mum are coming up for a week and then they are taking Riley back for a weeks holiday with his cousin.  He is sooo excited!

Last week I thought I better do a few challenges.  So here they are.....

123 Challenge

COLOUR: BROWN

WORD: CREATE

TECHNIQUE: USING TAPE - DECORATIVE/MASKING

Imagination....I have used some Tim Holtz tape as a background which I also misted over and 'roughed' up..Is that enough brown??...I never know when doing these challenges, how much to use and how much other colours we can use...oh well this is where it led me!

Love this quote which has the word 'CREATE' in it.

Closer look at the tape....

A closeup....check out the super cute fish button from Purple Pumpkin! This button was released at the last sale.

Okay better go and catch up on some blog hopping!
Have a great week :))))

  9. Ooohh I love these Melinda, especially the top one! I love how the background is all roughed up and the Tim Hotz tape is coming through, Gorgeous!

Do you have like a base card underneath your roughed up piece so that you can see the ripped Tim holtz tape underneath??? I have seen this done before and often wondered exactly how it is done!

123 perfect amount of brown and what a fab quote. The blue in DS's top looks great against the brown.
And the second LO. Wow. I cannot believe how effective it is. You are the misting queen and the PP button looks ace. I actually bought some of those also. Love the red twine.
