Hello everyone,
Sorry its taken me so long to post again. This past month as been ultra busy for me, so I have taken some "time off" from scrapbooking help me do what I have to do! :)
And on top of it all, I have some wonderful and exciting news to share with you all......
we are expecting our 3rd and very precious baby in September and can't wait! Everything has been going well so far with a few little hiccups here and there as there normally is, but I am now currently 21 weeks along and feeling much better. Although I have to admit that this baby is taking draining all my creativity out of me (which is not allowed is it....LOL!! )
The boys are ultra excited and talk about it all the time. So whether it will be another little boy or a little girl, I know it will be showered with love by us all and just perfect for our family :) We don't mind at all what it will be :))
So I went about and created my first layout. A photo taken of me at 18 weeks which I did as part of my Resident Guest Designer work for 2Crafty Chipboard.
"New Life"
I have had this paper range for a while now...Crate Paper - On Trend, and often wondered how I was going to use it. This photo was perfect and the colours and flowers in this range is just so gorgeous. Can't wait to keep using it.
Some older Prima flowers and embellishments used on this layout and I plucked up with courage and added some stamping! Love it, think I am going dust more of my stamps out and start using them again.
For that something extra to add to my layout, I used a cute Tiny Film Strip which I just ripped in half so I could add a piece to the top of my layout and a piece to the bottom. All I did here was just inked it in black ink.
I fell in love with these gorgeous Polaroid Frames and thought they were perfect to frame and outline this photo. I have inked it first in some pink versa marker ink and then wrapped washi tape over the top. Love how the pink comes through the tape and ties in with the rest of the colours in this layout.
I have also used 3 butterflies out of the Butterflies pack. Simple methods used here...I have inked them all over with a darker Turquoise Ink and then went around the edges in a lighter blue ink to add depth to the butterflies.
And I can't believe I haven't posted up with currently May sketch challenge for Paper Stories. If you are looking for a great challenge over the weekend and love sketches, try this one. There is a $20 store voucher up for grabs for the winner.
"My Favourite Boys"
Products used from Paper Stories are Crate Paper: Maggie Holmes papers & embellishments and some Studio Calico Wood Vineer Phrases. I have also used some Luminarte Twinkling H20's in Blue Zircon & Mustard Green (from my stash but other colours can also be found in store).
Another awesome paper range from Crate Paper and I loved getting out my Twinkling H20's and having a play...they have been sitting my drawer for far too long!
Hope you have enjoyed looking at my projects.
Thanks so much for visiting and hope to be back soon with some more :)
Hugs
Min xo
