Hope you have all had a great week...it has certainly warmed up where I live and I believe the weekend is going to be a scorcher! Think it will be lots of pool and BBQ time this weekend as well as some scrapping in the air con!
Well a few weekends a go, I pulled out some papers I have been dying to scrap with (yeah I know...I need to get them up quick don't I!!). They were released before I had my little bubba (which is just gone a year). I was kind to myself during my baby's first year as I wanted to enjoy that time immensely and just went with the flow and only scrapped when I could or when I had deadlines looming...lol! so I have lots of catching up to do now :))))
Here is the layout I created with some MME papers Fly Away and Sky's the Limit.

Love this adorable photo of my husband and baby at 2 months old...hard to believe how quickly the time has gone!
Loved the shabby feel to this background paper so did lots of distressing and tearing, inking etc.
Sigh...can't go past adding beautiful flowers to my layouts.
More "just because layouts next week...(I promise!)

ReplyDeleteYes they grow up too fast and is was so good for you to just enjoy that first year.. it goes the fastest!! This layout is so beautiful.. I love the college of pretty papers and textures, LOVE the banner going across the page and that photo is totally heart melting adorable.. and yes keep cool.. so dry here too.. always worry about fires.. and thanks for your lovely comments on my blog, they really mean a lot!!
