ahhhh....

its the last day of another month and I am not sure I achieved everything I wanted to but I am happy with what I did.

Just popping up the last of the LO's I did for the CC at Bons a couple of weeks ago. It was a scraplift challenge and we had to scraplift the fabulous Sandie Mallon who is leaving Bon's DT. We also had to include a B&W photo, buttons and something red. Here was my take.

Not much happening on the scrap front at the moment. We had a busy weekend away and now there is all things things that happen when you get home like washing and unpacking etc etc. Tomorrow is a new month with new challenges and I am sure after having a week off of scrapping I will feel very inspired!!!

ever done a LO with no title??? I don't think I have until now. But I love this one and felt the photo didn't need a title. Bon's colour challenge for the CC was pink, cream, black and white along with newspaper, no title and her quote "Sometimes, beauty is not only skin deep". Using lots of yummy products from Leeann Pearce's Chip Chop Shop again.

The newspaper is behind the photo which I smeared cream paint on it.

Well best keep going and keep scrapping hey! Just waiting for some paint to dry....it takes forever in this dreary weather!

Riley at Three

Just popping up a LO I did for Bons CC! This was for the fantastic sketch provided by Sandie Mallon.

Extra criteria was to use:

Flowers
Banner
Sewing (which is on my banner)
Script paper

Loved how this one came out. This is a typical "Riley" expression I wanted to capture at 3 years old!! Doily trim came from the awesome Leeann Pearce's Chip Chop Shop!

Finally Friday!!

lol!!! Just had to say that!! Weekends are great hey! I am looking forward to mine, although nothing hugely planned but might duck up to the sunny coast to see my sister on Saturday, just for the day as Brad has some work to do for them.

Anyway, here are a couple of LO's I have done this week.

Sandie Mallon has decided to step down from the Design Team at Bons. She is a very busy mother who also works and her husband is away alot. Family has always got to come first hey! So I did her final class on Tuesday night. She will be missed heaps, her work is amazing!

Just another LO using the Boy kit from Bons.

Memories

Hello everyone,

Just a couple to share today...

My boys are just growing up so super fast, right before my eyes, sometimes I wish I could hit the pause button...I have just been enjoying lately trying to capture the "everyday" moments that we can so easily let slip by.

The May Write Now challenge at Bons was to journal about being thankful for someone or someones in our life, use a raw piece of chipboard and a diecut. Just loved this photo of my sister and the boys. They love it when she comes and plays the piano! The journaling is in my words but I asked Riley what he loved about Aunty Leonie and he listed a few things for me. So cute!!

A LO using the May boy kit from Bons. Such a yummy kit, I can't wait to use more.

Learner Driver!!!

Hello everyone,


Just thought I would share one of the latest creations of mine. Its for the Kraft It Up challenge site. Just loving all there challenges of late. May's challenge was to create your own pattern paper using paints, misting, stamping etc etc. I have used some yummy glimmermist to create this background! Love how this one turned out. Riley just loves having any chance he can to jump into Brad's work ute (obviously not while in motion) and pretend to drive. Its funny that its in boys right from a young age!! The instinct to get behind the wheel!!! I think I can definitely wait for those years....lol!!!

Creative Week

Where as the week gone??? Sorry I have been slack at blogging this week but I have been busy creating! Here are a couple for you.


The awesome sketch provided by Charm at Bons this month had extra criteria to use items from the kitchen and handmade flowers along with printed journalling in a unusual font.

This is my take. I have used greaseproof paper which was soaked in tea. That took the greasiness out of it. I love this effect, will be using it again for sure. Other kitchen items on this layout are the yellow paper doily which I cut in half to use as a scallop and at the top near the date I have used a twisty. Also I have handmade the flowers out of felt. You will also spy a fabric doily from Leeann Pierce and buttons from Such Sweet Tierney.

This LO was based on the ROTM for May at Bons. Here is the room.

I loved all the lines in this room (ie bookshelf etc etc), as well as the colours so I used some tape to create "lines"on my page.
