WOW I can't believe its been a week since my last post. It was kinda of a self inflicted break away from the computer, one I needed, but I have had a seriously busy week. Between helping out at Kindy on a few projects and the usual house stuff I have also had an extra boy for most of the week too. While my little nephew is a good boy and very easy to look after...its still an extra in the house and then all the school runs and I am constantly looking at the time making sure I don't forget to pick him up or something!!!
Its early....its cool... but I have another very busy day ahead....DH is on days off now till Tuesday (YAY!!!) and we have so much to get done!
BUT.... I wanted to draw your attention to a new challenge that is happening at Purple Pumpkin! Yep every month there will be a challenge coming your way!!! Exciting!!! This month it went up a little late but hopefully in the following months they will be up on the 1st!
The first challenge is a really nice sketch challenge designed by the talented Anne Patterson.
So...the challenge is to create a layout or card using this sketch, and it must have a Purple Pumpkin embellie on there somewhere.
There will be 2 prizes up for grabs...a $25 Purple Pumpkin voucher and a $15 voucher. 1st prize will be decided by the design team and the 2nd prize will be a random draw, so everyone has a chance to win. So what are you waiting for? Get scrapping and use up some of your Purple Pumpkin stash!! When you've completed your layout, link it up in the sidebar. Entries close at midnight 31st May.
Here is my sample...I just turned the sketch to suit my photos.
Welcome Home Daddy....again using up some oldish photos....well not that old but from last year. Brad started work up here in Emerald 6 weeks before we all moved up, so after 6 weeks of just mummy....Riley was very happy to see his daddy again! (so was I....!!!) Can you believe...We have nearly been up here for 12 months!!! EEEK!!
So seeing as tho these photos were taken at the Brisbane Airport...these gorgeous Purple Pumpkin aeroplane buttons were just PERFECT, not to mention totally CUTE for my layout!
And here is another cute little one....
Well I hope to see some of my lovely blog readers have a go...the prizes are so generous you would be mad not to en!ter
And just because I can....here is a little sneak for you....but you will have to wait until next month to see the rest of it...hehehe..!!
Okay best go and get things organised for the day!!
Take care and thanks for visiting...your lovely comments help me to keep scrapping :))))
xx
